Hardy Black like the name says, this is a Hardy blackberry that bears fruit early on thorny long canes. Similar to it’s wild counterparts, berries are larger and better suited to free picking. It will perform better in our winters but may need winter protection in Zone 4 and colder.
Growth and vegetation:
Vigorous plant with low suckering. Will shoot out, long bending thorny canes. Excellent hardiness.
Harvest and yield:
Early and abundant yield. Must be winter protected in colder region.
Berries:
Larger size than wild blackberries. Excellent taste.
