Get to know Tundra — fierce cold-climate haskap that combines firmness, flavour, and performance. If you want fruit that holds well and bushes that stay strong, Tundra delivers.
Quick highlights:
• Hardiness: Very cold-tolerant — made for tough winters.
• Productivity: Medium-high yields early in the season.
• Berry size: Medium fruit with excellent retention.
• Firmness: Very firm fruit — resists softening and handles well.
From USask (University of Saskatchewan) breeding, Tundra is built for durability. Its berries don’t ‘bleed’ from the stem end, and the firm texture makes it friendly for fresh eating, freezing or processing. A favourite among growers in northern and challenging climates.
