Sutton

One the most productive variety

Sutton is a seedless rhubarb with heavy yields of solid quality stems. Also known as Suttons Seedless this rhubarb is a mid-season cropper, best harvested in May or perhaps June in the North.

The ideal soil for rhubarb is neutral to slightly acidic; it will tolerate quite acidic soil, but yields will be smaller. The Sutton rhubarb is a big plant so plant about 110 cm apart in a sunny position as rhubarb hates the shade.

Kiwi Sylvia TM

Sylvia is part of the Kolomiktas family, originates from Siberia and developed in Quebec, therefor offering hardiness adapted for Northern regions. Sylvia and Nordic being both from the same family must be paired with a ratio of at least 1 male (Nordic) for 1 to 8 females (Sylvia).

Hight of plants can vary from 3 to 5 meters, branches will need tutoring and minimal pruning needed. Very good tolerance to diseases and changing climatic conditions. One plant can bear many kilograms of fruit. Harvest will take place in late summer-early fall. Fruit size equivalent to a large table grape, smooth-skinned and sweet berries that can be harvested easily.
